actually if ipaymy publicly posted frank is eligible, means 99.9% is correct. else they have to manually reverse the payment which caused more effort for them if customer complains
ipaymy did specific frank is eligible for cashback but did not specify 6% or 0.3% (though it is quite obvious it is 6%) but the guy anyhow assume 0.3%

How about OCBC 365?

Does it fall under any 3% category or just the measly 0.3% ?

if its 0.3%, ipaymy wont call it out. i find their list quite accurate because UOB one used to give 5% and they updated it to "till 30th July 2022", and there is a time stamp to indicate when the list was refreshed

If one fails to get the rebate based on the list, we can contact ipaymy to reverse the payment because it make no sense to incur 2%+ fee, did this before too..

Then how about OCBC 365? They also specified it as eligible cashback card but ipaymy does not fit into any category that gives extra cashback. I highly suspect that it only gives measly 0.3%

Hi there,

It will depend on the Merchant Category Code (MCC) coming in for those transactions. We will only be able to check a merchant's MCC after the purchase is charged to the card. You may drop us a secured mail via ibanking or call our 24-hour hotline 1800 363 3333 for a check on the MCC, once you have made the transaction. We seek your kind understanding on this, thank you.

I have just completed my 3rd recurring payment using UOB one card. With UOB one excluding iPayMy transaction for rebates, since I can't cancel my remaining recurring payment, is changing the deduction amount the only way to "cut loss"??

You can cancel the whole outstanding scheduled payment - i did it after my last payment this month . It is super bad navigation - not intuitive new UI. IIRC, You will need to navigate to your scheduled payment , then click on one of the payment to be collected - then in this payment detail you will see "..." . You can cancel from there.
The new UI is more confusing than the old one in my opinion .

Or if this is super difficult to navigate - ask them directly how - i think the chat can respond from there

I diskllike the new UI. the old one was simple, the new one they make it so complicated with the dashboards and filters. the filter is the worst part.

last time so east to navigate past txn and scheduled ones with simple clicks.

Whatever the UI design, don't think I will ever use iPayMy regularly in the near future now that UOB one does not count the spending as contributing towards cash rebates calculation from next month....
