Was thinking of using SCB Manhattan and OCBC Frank to make some payments, checked with Cardup and realized both cards not eligible for cashback. Are they still usable to get max cashback with ipaymy?

on what basis did cardup say the 2 cards not eligible? The cards' TnC did not indicate cardup or mcc 7399 excluded

2) OCBC Frank (min 800 for 8%, cap $25)
3) DCS Ultimate Platinum MasterCard (no min, 2%, cap $200)
4) DCS flex visa (min 600 for 6%, cap $25)

Used to use them pre covid. But now use cc via paypal to cashout. Rinse repeat to earn points and up to 55 days credit term.

i did a quick calculation. assuming income tax of $4000.

using scb manhattan to pay. ipaymy fees is 1.99% = $79.60
SCB 3% rebate on $4079.60 = $122.39
nett rebate is $42.79

i use GIRO, and put the money in a high yield account of say 4.6%pa (BOC SS)
over 12 months, the interest gained is around $99 (this is after accounting for the monthly GIRO deduction)

1$ 4,000.00$ 15.12
2$ 3,666.67$ 14.33
3$ 3,333.33$ 12.60
4$ 3,000.00$ 11.72
5$ 2,666.67$ 10.42
6$ 2,333.33$ 8.82
7$ 2,000.00$ 7.81
8$ 1,666.67$ 6.30
9$ 1,333.33$ 5.21
10$ 1,000.00$ 3.91
11$ 666.67$ 2.35
12$ 333.33$ 1.30
$ 99.90

how about split to GIRO instalment and pay monthly on cardup using DCS Flex for 6% rebate (get 6% for online/contactless or 8% for overseas spend, need min 600 monthly)

ipaymy raised their base fee from 2.25% to 2.4%, on top of the $1 'safekeeping' fee?
