Seems like my iPhone has been registering my face for FaceID login 90% of the time today. Previously I had to input my passcode all the time. Is this the work of AI learning?

What do you mean? The phone is always learning about your face as your unlock.

has anybody replaced their iphone 11 screen at apple store before?

care to share the procedures?

Book an appointment through the Apple Support app. Head down to Apple store when it’s appointment day and make sure you backup your phone.

Phone will be taken in to replace the display. Takes up to 2-5hrs or one day depending on the time you brought it in. So book a slot as early as possible.

I was wondering if the machine learning is actually learning the contours on my face with the mask on during the failed FaceID logins for the days prior to today. I wore the mask today and when I brought my phone up, the unlock icon appeared. I was actually quite impressed and I was wondering if this is a one off thing or has my phone learned about my face with mask on.

I'm thinking of getting an iPhone 11 64gb and subscribe to 200gb icloud storage. Is 64gb enough to store all the apps and have a seamless experience with storing the rest of the photos, videos etc in the cloud?

I'm worried about any potential waiting time, loading time or laggyness that I might experience with icloud storage

simple maths icloud subscription service x 1/2/3year over 11 128/256gb... i would rather go for a 256gb storage instead.

Simple logic also tell you with the subscription, you’ll have a seamless access to all your files and backup from all iOS devices.

Don’t subscribe too much capacity first, this year could be the year Apple double the storage across the board.

Guys, appreciate your suggestions on below.

Presently holding a P20pro, thinking of going into a modern iPhone (Xs and abv) because my company's office applications work better under iOS.

What's the best economical or sensible way to come in? Get a used X or go straight to a new 11/Xr? Battery is a major consideration for me and I seldom play games hence the new SE would be out.

Is it stupid to buy a new iPhone w/o contract? Or would buying one with contract make more financial sense though the new line would be quite underutilised.

Thank u in adv!

The most economical way is to get the SE or the 11.
Will recommend against XR.
