in-thing is one thing. there's still market for standard size phones. iPhone 6 to iPhone X. thats the perfect size for me.
my problem isnt about big phones really. it's more of having the better camera on the bigger version. like what happened to Plus.
with XS/XS Max, different size, same camera. i would ve thought they are done with having different camera modules. but now they going to do it again.
they better have a good reason why the housing is a square shape~![]()
Yes and the square camera module better be really good, to justify its purpose.
Anyway now the trend is also keeping phone sizes small while maximising screen size, that’s what phone makers are also trying to achieve. Hence all the ‘bezel-less’ and highest screen-to-bosy ratio thingy.
I suppose Apple wants to standardise the cameras on each of the iPhones, regardless what size they are of the same series. Main difference might just be only screen size while retaining same features.
In the case of 7 and 8 series, the Plus model might just be obvious due to dual camera design.
