Why would we need Face ID and Touch ID, I don't get why people want 2 security methods when we already have the passcode method as well?

You don't see people using digital lock and padlocks on their front doors right?

Choices are good to have, with the option to choose which method you prefer.

with Face ID I just raise my phone I can see them why need so many steps

I completely disagree with this. Touch ID feels ancient now. It’s not intuitive.

The new multi-angle Face ID will be so much better. Apple will not introduce Touch ID again unless they can execute perfectly to unlock from anywhere on the screen. The current in-display fingerprint technology just doesn’t cut it.

Even the MacBook is transiting to Face ID starting from the upcoming 16” Pro.

Samsung doesn’t have Face ID. They only have a simple facial recognition and IRIS scanner which are not popular or even convenient to use.

The compelling reason why I want to get the 16" MacBook Pro. Because of the Face ID on Mac.

I agree. Previously owned a Note9 and now Note10+. The Iris scanner on Note9, facial recognition and in-screen fingerprint sensor on Note10+ still fall short of Apple's touch/face ID.

Bloomberg says got some software feature to make use of all three lenses to give hi res image. Video recording also improved.

All these cannot be leaked via factories in China.

Face ID has its cons like sunglasses, scarf and cap could render it unusable, but so far Face ID works for me 95% of the time.

Apple face ID is better than any android phone "face id". People can laugh all they want on the notch but that notch is the reason why the iphone is so secure and face ID is so precise.

Of cos it will be great if they can improve more on face ID. Once 11 is out then will give it a try. If it pass my expectation plus others, then of cos it's obvious i will change to this 11.
