Why suddenly no more 3D Touch ah? 3D Touch is sensing the pressure of our pressing right?

3d touch is hardware based and takes up space. Removing 3d touch gives them more space for a bigger battery. Haptic touch is software based

Nope, my phone won’t get warm when surfing safari

Is it normal for the phone to get abit warm when actively surfing Safari? Things like loading new pages.

Did you just restore from a backup? I realise that my phone always gets hot after restore because it’s syncing my images and videos

Yes. I did a wired restore of my Pro Max from my XR backup. Is there any way to check the progress of the status of completion? Does it need to be on the charger for all the indexing and syncing?

oh ya just dawned on me that you cannot charge whilst they’re both tethered
but typically takes no more than 3 hours wifi
so yours should be faster

remember also once completed
the apps still need to be downloaded / updated
it’s not like u could leave your home with the new phone
if you have spotify downloaded songs on mobile, best u keep the app open
leave it on the library page, so u can see how many songs been downloaded (top right)

As far as I can tell, all apps are downloaded, songs from my Apple Music library were downloaded to my phone, and a round of iCloud backup was created while charging my Pro Max.

I’m considering to drop by the store to return this set and get another one.

Don't xia suay yourself at the apple store la, monitor for a few days first. You have 2 weeks to make a return

Yeah, I did. Nothing unusual like background activity of possible rogue apps. The warmth is only present during Safari which I think it's unusual. It's not like I'm shooting photos/videos or even using Portrait modes.

Don't really need a case anymore. Even at that height where it crack, I don't think a case will save it.
