No. There is an IC on the board to regulate the input power.

just got myself a midnight green 11 pro max 256gb from singtel

i realize the phone become very hot from charging. even through the spigen tough armor casing.

is this a battery defection? or is it a normal thing for iphone 11?

if so i will need to go change to new one, since there is a 14 days 1 for 1 exchange.

Not normal. For mine, it doesn’t get hot with original charger, maybe for 3rd party (fast charge), furthermore, you not even using. If you really think there’s an issue, maybe bring down and let them check

i heard it has something to do with the fast charging, high voltage cuz of thye fast charge to pro max big battery capacity.

everything was ok, even gaming or social media, nv heat up

its just the charging part. tonight i try turn off bluetooth and airdrop n try again see got improvement anot

tried and tested charging just now from 50%

i use the old charger with lower voltage to charge slowly see if its hot anot. and it is very hot also.

so when i reach 60%, i unplug use back the original IP11 charger to fast charge, no more hot liao.

I never off Bluetooth, gps and other random stuff, 24/7 on. Charger will get hot but nothing is burning for me. Phone is like normal temp unless I play game while charging which is expected

I have the same problem. After update to 13.5 my battery health dropped 4% in a short few weeks. Then now update to 13.5.1 seems to stable again. Battery health been holding on steady.
