iphones never sleep because it keeps connecting to apple servers every few seconds even if you dont use it. So the processor cannot enter low power state. best to turn off internet or switch off at night.

I have same issue when using iPhone XS Max. Main issue is certain app running in background after updating my XS Max to iOS 14. For example hardwarezone forum app. After I deleted the app that run in background, my Battery draining is normal. You delete tik Tok app and monitor

My iPhone 12PM occasionally has this battery draining issue too. Just need to force reboot it when you see battery drop faster than usual. I suspect this is firmware issue.

My iphone 12 pro max is on iOS 14.2.1 but i am not facing such issues.

Even when i use my phone for like 3 straight hours of tiktok or youtube or netflix, the battery drain is only 10-20%

Do you have any apps which is constantly fetching data in the background?

I don't know, somemore else said about batt draining issues in which I've no issues at all.

Now that I'm using it, I too don't have this battery drain issue. Hmm but I have removed/disabled settings/apps/features that will constantly be active in the background.

I have installed quite a number of apps and took about 30mins but my battery only dropped 3%.
The double press on power button to install apps is quite a hassle though. Can't imagine I install apps while wearing mask. I will have to double press followed by typing my alpha numeric password. lol...

I think the problem is background apps as previously I don't close them before putting into standby now after closing everything and then sleeping the drain was much better 2-3% overnight

I usually don't leave any apps running in the background.

Now need to wear mask can't be helped. The only time I can use the Face ID is at home.
