Which wireless charger are u using? What case are u using?

Mine is the Nomad Wireless Charging Base Station.

I’ve tried using both with and without case, but no dice. When I put my XS to charge, no issue at all.

Saw a similar issue somewhere and I think Nomad is working on the firmware update for this product. Just write an email to them and ask. iPhone 12 is working fine on my Samsung wireless charger stand.

No it is either a refurbished set or one that had been returned and re pack.

The set is not sealed?

if it is used with no issues i think most prefer that...rather to have a new one with issues.

So a brand new set with little issue exchange for a used set... Zzz

My 12 Pro Max also has the gap. Can't really see it but i can slide in $2 note near the silent switch there, the whole top area and the bottom right corner.

Thats why after collected ur phone, shld jus siam from forum. Jus use the phone n enjoy?
I nv check my phone, dun bother. Maybe when the warranty going end, then go check get a replacement to sell for next iPhone?

haha, i also did the check after reading the many feedbacks here and online. well, i will live with it till real issues comes up that warrants an exchange.

Yah if I change for another set it might be a refurbished and still has the issue. So might as well wait for few months to see if Apple can rectify the issue or not lo

The current case has covered part of the edges still not so worry

Totally agree - I also noticed some slight gaps but not that obvious and doesn’t really bother me.

But well I guess alot of bros here are quite the perfectionist who cannot stand any flaws to their beloved iPhone (not even micro scratches). Totally respect that since if you’re paying $2k for a phone, there’s no reason to accept anything less than perfect from Apple.

I also bueh tahan micro scratches... Silver set has quite a few liao and some quite jialat just by taking case in n out only... Most likely gonna replace with other colors... .

But the screen gap one might be margin of error? I not sure but ya i also dont bother to check

But i wont risk a 2k phone exposed to metal polish though

I rather it be more scratch resistant in first place. And even if buff it wont totally remove the scratches too

Maybe can use cape cod polish cloth.
People use it to polish Rolex.
Rolex glossy bracelet also micro scratches easily

Used that on my 11 pro max silver. Yup can remove the scratches but not completely. And risk of polish entering buttons and speaker grills are there though... Done it once and dont dare do it again

Maybe the gold is "more" scratch resistant because it "uses a special high-power, impulse magnetron sputtering (HiPIMS) process that lays down the coating in a super dense pattern"

but don't get your hopes too high
