Some EU countries are bring Apple to court for not giving warranty coverage to the phones since they are IP68 certified. Hopefully they are successful and more countries will ask for it too.

Apple fits iPhones with internal indicators which show when there has been water ingress into the device. It is Apple policy to deny warranty repair or replacement when this indicator is activated. This means buyers are told one thing when they buy the phone, but something else when they need after-sales service.

Apple has been fined ten million Euros, and additionally ordered to publish a notice on its Italian website through a ‘Consumer protection information’ link.

The potentially opens the way for similar rulings in other European Union countries, and could conceivably lead to class action lawsuits in the US and elsewhere, now that the issue has been highlighted.

I never follow him la, but concept is the same, mine is daily usage it gradually trained to recognise me. But it took months.

Just want to know those who bought apple care plus. You guys still got paste screen protector and use good case to protect your phone ?

Okay. An update for the DBS or UOB app freezing iPhone settings & heating up.

After I turned off the FaceID setting, somehow the app doesn’t freeze up iPhone settings anymore, however it still does heats up the phone. Crippled app, DBS & UOB need to fix it.

This kind of issue doesn’t even happens on ICBC or HSBC app. Shame on DBS & UOB.

I might try a full reset & restore to see if it fixes the issues.

Some other apps will also lose internet connectivity. Once off and on WiFi will work again immediately. Don’t think it is my router or AP issue since my PC etc works fine..

Okay. Spend the whole day yesterday to apple mbs. And then they also cannot find anything.

Tried dfu full restore. After 10-20hours. Now still same. Bloody waste my weekends away.

I’m done with apple & DBS!
