can u share how u measured e SOT?

I measure by phone is fully charged to 100% by midnight +-. Unplug it. Sleep. Let it run on standby time.

Next off day wake up, use phone as per my last post description. Go to the respective phone's battery settings to check the SOT.

Double confirm by manually adding roughly each application usage time. And it tallies with what the battery SOT has added up.

By then its around dinner time 7pm, battery shows 20%, I plug in to charge. Leave it on charger till 100%. 12mn unplug. Sleep.

So theoretically, its not a 100% to 0% test from me.

If its my work day, I'll charge my phone during work at dismissal time, minus time to full charge phone (7pm-2hrs=5pm plug in), and unplug at 100% before I leave office.

One thing good about Sammy phone is got countdown timer to 100% full charge. Roughly gives us a gauge to when can unplug.

Yeah worst come to worst, Apple resale is good lmao.

I still don’t think iOS makes good use of the gigantic PM screen, even with the new widgets.

I had the same issue until a friend reminded me that both phones need to be on the same iOS. So I upgraded my X to 14.1 and phone to phone data transfer was successful. Do note that setting up Apple ID will still take some time but just let it do its thing.

I’m permanently stuck on the setting up Apple ID screen on my 12 pro. Restarted twice and still same results. Then once it progressed to ask me to agree to T&Cs, then told me data transfer failed and asked me to reset the device.

Anybody did phone to phone transfer and had problems?

I faced the same issue as you twice when using phone to phone transfer. Confirmed both phones were at 14.1 but still encountered it. In the end I did the transfer via iTunes and worked 1st time. Weird as there was no issue doing the phone to phone transfer for my iphone 11 pro last year.

iPhone resale value is good when we know the timing and 技巧 to catch in order to offload our old iPhone. Oct 10 I sold my 11PM at $1200. That is in tandem with WhyMobile pricing. I purposely sell before Apple Event Oct 14th 1am iPhone 12 announcement.

True enough on preorder date Oct 16th, the next day Oct 17th, all famous handphone retailers all drop price of iP11PM 256gb to $1000.

Currently as of now its only S$950. I can't imagine if wait till Nov 13th, 12PM release date then offload 11PM, how much money the difference could be.

Carousell market pricing follow very closely with handphone shop take in pricing for used phones.

Apple touts a Smart Data feature that's specific to the iPhone 12 that will automatically switch between 4G LTE and 5G networks -- without you having to know or do a thing -- based on how you're using the iPhone 12. The automatic switch is part of an effort to improve battery life. However, you may find that your iPhone 12's battery drains faster than it did before. If you don't want to sacrifice battery life for faster 5G speeds, shut it down. You can always turn 5G back on when you want it, or when service in your area improves.

To turn off 5G on your iPhone 12, forcing it to always use 4G LTE even if you have 5G coverage, open the Settings app then go to Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data and tap LTE.

So 5G will eat more power. i switch off 5G . Switch to 4G only cos my plan no 5G cos simless plan . no need 5G .

so depend you guys. Anyway turning on 5G wouldn't get holograpm of your caller

Di u manage to downsize? So seems like a matter of getting used to. Dont know if i should try one time change to 6.1. I dont really need the telephone lens and the function of pro series which cost so much more. :s13:

Yes a couple times actually, note 2 to iPhone 5s, iPhone 5s to iPhone 6 Plus. iPhone 6 Plus to one plus 3T, iPhone 7 Plus to SE 2016. had note 10 plus to iPhone XR. Every time it’s just a few days time to get used to then it’s business as usual.

Yeah fast charging is pointless at the bedside when your phone’s going to be plugged in overnight. I have fast chargers in the office and my dining area at home, where we need to top up as much as we can during the time we’re seated there

Wow quite surprised Apple screwed this up so badly. Both of my phones were already on 14.1 and my case was 11 pro to 12 pro so it’s even more surprising.

Wireless at bedside is good. So you don’t have to poke the port in the dark. Just make sure it’s charging before sleep

Using circles life SIM card on my iPhone 12 Pro.

Saw very brief "5G" on the indicator 2-3 times while travelling from Bedok to Jurong East on EWL. Quickly returned to 4G. Kinda surprised considering it's MVNO.
