I done twice from X to XR and XR to 12, so far I didn’t find any photos, videos, mails and chats in WhatsApp missing. Make sure you turn on the Bluetooth on the old phone, ensure powerful wifi is connected and also sufficient battery level

Shouldn’t have any issues. Just double back up to iCloud to be safe.

So far when I put my phone on charge after lunch till end work it never went past 80%

OKie. Mine went to 100% or at least 9X%. The phone knows what i want.

Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Significant Locations > Significant Locations.

18w already fast enough. If have one then no need to buy the 20w already unless using MagSafe charger

Just do the iPhone migration. Every apps, photos, chat messenger messages, phone text messages all get transferred over to the new phone for me.

ok, collecting my iphone 12pro tomorrow..

what should I do now? backup to icloud ? or just do nothing and do the transfer from iphone7 to iphone12pro by putting them side by side tomorrow?

Got.. the 20w charger head. Actually those that came with the 11promax have also but it’s only 18w iirc

Make sure do migration in middle of night else you may miss a few messages if let’s say someone WhatsApp or sms u during the process.

You just have to set up your Apple Pay , Face ID and those banking digital apps.

I would and did monitor for about 1-2 hours first to make sure all data has been transferred. And so far no issues, but this is just a just in case situation

When you say delete, do you mean manually delete or erase all content & settings? If you are using iCloud sync, manually delete will delete sync content like photos, contacts, notes etc from your other devices including your new iPhone.

Correct way is to erase all content & settings.

Correct way is to erase all content & settings.

To add on, prior to pressing the Erase all contents & settings button, must press: Settings>At the top our own profile pic the iCloud icon>Sign out at the bottom. iPhone will ask us - keep a copy of contacts, safari, photos etc...all push to the ‘No’ tab.

what are the possibility of failure doing the phone to phone migration?

I know require both phone to be on the same software version. but does it mean like 14.2 and 14.2 or just both version 14 will do (one phone can be 14.1 and the other on 14.2) ?

iPhone migration required both iPhone to be running the same software, in the midst during the migration it will prompt either of the iPhone to update to the latest software in order to complete the process.
Given now the iPhone 12 series latest software is iOS 14.2.1 and the previous iPhone model lasted software is iOS 14.2, so it might just required the previous model of iPhone to be in iOS 14.2 and the iPhone 12 series to be iOS 14.2.1

cheaper to get no-line ip12 @ shops like mobile sq? did sums but telco plan + ip12 doesnt add up compared to no-line price + sim-only.

ya..I was afraid that they require both to be 14.2.1 and my iphone 7 will not get this version...and I will be screwed..
