I am thinking of whether should I upgrade or just keep using my iPhone X and replace the battery.
At first look, there isn’t any wow factor in this version. I guess the system is still going to have heat dissipation issues.
dilemma dilemma
Power sia you all, iPhone X likely 4 years ago and those using even older iphone really need to salute you all, all can use for so long.

I can never do it, must always buy the latest model 😂, even previously on Samsung flagship I also annual change phone since Galaxy S3 era then come to iPhone camp starting from iPhone X till now I also annually change, skip iPhone XS series though.

How you all do it? So epic

is the max too large for single hand use? on 12 pro atm :o
Depends on your hands size, After going 1 yr, I find it sometimes ip12 pro max hard to type or reply on single hand, on bed watching show and that phone drop on my face…really will wake you up. 😂

Put into side jeans pocket also very bulky and hard to bend down to pick up stuff as you get stuck by the phone and the weight is kind of heavy.

sometimes do find the normal 12 to be abiit large for single hand use, but a larger screen is really easier on the eyes :o

Guess that’s how good iphone is? 😂 Apple still push iOS to older model device and does not lag the phone. I used to change phone every year too but stop doing so years back. No point cause the phone still works great.

Even for the iPad Pro , I’m still using 2018 model.

Dunno why is there a need to change phone every year. The phone is always about the same, only faster, better screen, better camera. But experience wise, still the same leh.

So cannot convince myself to spend money to buy that phone, back up and transfer, get a new casing and screen protector. etc.

I told myself before the release that if it has the on screen touch id, i will get it. At least I dont need to remove my mask for faceid, which is literally for every damn identification sh*t.

But never come out. No mention on the vapour cooling system. smaller notch but not the pinhole one. so still trying to find a reason to convince myself to get it.

Keep the iPhone X if you don't feel there's any compelling reasons to upgrade.

At this time, you'd only get noticably better camera and battery life only.

eSIM not available and 5G still not streamline in Singapore.

I noticed from gsmarena's data that iphone 13 pro max has 8 GB RAM this time and Iphone 13/mini has 6 GB RAM.

Iphone 13 pro max
https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_13_pro_max-11089.php
Iphone 13 & 13 mini
https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_13-11103.phphttps://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_13_mini-11104.php
Has this been 100% confirmed? If so, then 13 pro max is more powerful as it also has 1 more gpu core (5 core over Iphone 13's 4 core gpu). This year's pro seems to have more differentiation.
iPhone 13 Models Have the Same Amount of RAM as iPhone 12 Models

4GB for 13 / 13 Mini
6GB for 13 Pro / 13 Pro Max

Sigh wanted to wait for on screen touch but think I'll have to get iphone 13. My iphone 8 64gb kept running out of space these days.

may i ask whats the reason it died? from dropping?
Initially, it was the battery failing, at the 3rd year. Then subsequently around 3 months ago, cannot charge or motherboard died. Brought to apple store for repair and I was told iphone X got such issues and was advised not to repair. Initially wanted to change just the battery to try but decided not to.
