Btw, first time iPhone user, got for myself pro max 256GB, all along Samsung fans.

Applecare+ recommended? Since very exp at $300+. Main advantage is ownself damage phone can repair + extend 1 yr warranty correct?

i used to buy apple care but
as of late i don't feel it is worth nor apple actually care whether you have it- if you'd like to get battery changed when batt health isn't under 80% (sounds like not taking care works better )
can still do 1 to 1 express replacement (haven't check whether they do it now or ..) (yes remember the term)
which is a refurbished set.. (not your same phone) else pay for battery replacement which is cheaper than apple care+

ONLY reco to buy if you confirm drop often and screen crack if im not wrong the price for applecare vs no applecare repair is quite significant

anw since i called apple earlier for instalment enquiries

you can still buy applecare+ within 60 days of having your iphone (after that cannot buy already methinks? never tried to appeal or etc)

Yes the applecare+ will start from the date u bought it. No longer start from the iPhone purchase date.
But do make sure nothing happens during the first 59 days before u buy AppleCare+.

lol the other user is correct that means have changes (but i now won't bother to clarify w apple unless i buying)
