anyone finds the 120hz barely passable? When scrolling on apps like instagram and Facebook, it feels no different as compared to a 60hz experience.

If I am not wrong, u need the app developer to update their app to support 120hz.

Developers have no control over background app refresh.

Basically, imagine your apps as passengers, iOS as the bus driver and the iPhone as a bus.
On a long trip, the bus will waste a lot of fuel and time if it keeps stopping whenver someone wants to go for a bio-break.

In the context of background app refresh. Say in the scenario where the user is using Safari to browse the web. The bus driver (iOS), sees that there’s active user interaction with Safari. It takes this opportunity to tell everyone on the bus. Okay, there’s a toilet nearby. Who wanna go?

This in turn saves fuel and time. And the upside is everyone gets to go toilet (fetch their content).

How often does a background app refresh is determined by iOS. One of the factor it looks at is how often the app is used by the user.
Guess I misunderstood or things changed. Thanks.

120hz on iPhone 13 is like transitioning from normal 100hz to 240hz TV
Probably comes with 14,though by then maybe 120hz is already the norm on most android phones
But I am fine with 60hz since it is battery efficient

I got a question for Battery usage. So i was monitoring to see what's my Screen on Time before my battery goes flat. Yesterday it shows 3hour+. Just now when I check again, it's only 2 hours+. Any idea why so? I didnt switch off my phone when i go to bed. It's only on airplane mode.

I remembered they dun allow to ship using forwarder. So, u can't buy from HK store direct and ship to SG.
