No, applecare+ will merge with your existing warranty activation date.
Say you activated on 1st October 2021, your warranty will be extended to 30 Sep 2023.
Wrong. Apple changed this about 2 years ago. Now is base on AppleCare+ purchase date.
I bought ip on 29 Sep, purchased AppleCare on 4 Oct. Now my expiry show 3 oct 2023.

2 yrs back when I bought APP and AppleCare, it also based on AppleCare date and not APP purchase date .

If i buy it on 59th day, does it mean i will have 2 year applecare+ starting on that day itself?
Alab has it within the year. Hahaha not even 60 days.
As for the 59th day … myth has not been debunked yet, you can go try and come back to us with your findings.

I like the word - WRONG! Reminds me of the "good" and "bad" teachers back in the day.
we all have teachers that we like and dislike.
Obviously, we prefer a "softer" approach, which is what manofsorrows did in the response.
It really irks to have someone reply with a "Hard" approach - WRONG! but well we are all humans and maybe there is a need for you to vent that word "WRONG" out in such an appropriate manner.

Thank you for the updated information.

Thank you for the kind correction! It is weird that I was given a different picture last year when I went down to purchase an apple watch with apple care+. Regardless, the only way to find out is to buy the applecare+ on number 59 day!

Those using "ScamShield" from GovSG, fire up your AppStore and update. Now compatible with iOS15, go to settings, phone, call blocking & identification, enable it.

yeah, if you want to yolo, live life on the edge... stretch till 364th day and go to Alab, and still get a 10% discount out of it. But by then a new iphone would have been released. Unless of course you intend to keep the phone for another year.

Anyone got hesitation to get the 13 pro/pro max due to the price? Last high end phone I got was note 9, and wife got the iPhone XR. Price of the 13 pro/pro max is like a laptop price ….…. Though if get it, I expect to use for 4 years at least.

4 years should not have any problem. Make sure u get Apple care+, before warranty ended on the 2nd year, go for a battery change.

The pricing is really hard to justify. That's why I only buy from the Telco when I renew my 2yrs mobile line with them and sell off previous iPhone.
