I switched from 11 Pro to 12 Pro Max.
I am planning to make the switch back to 13 Pro.

You will definitely get use to it. You will get use to how bulky it is to carry it around.
How heavy that slab of metal is every time it enters your pocket and how you are relived of the burden when it’s out of your pockets.

I miss using the phone one handed.
IMHO, iPhone X was the sweet spot
Pro max has been worse ever iphone. Its heavy and bulky.

Basically it’s the same as iPhone 12 series, only USA get the mmWave support and Apple didn’t expand the support globally yet.

Nevermind since mmWave need to be close to the base tower or supported area to get the insane fast speed as the signal strength travel short distance, so not really important.

Till today locally iPhone 12 series and above for now only support 5G NSA. More importantly is did our 3 telco get the carrier update from Apple to support local 5G SA with its Qualcomm X60 modem?

Currently only Samsung S21 series can support our local 5G NSA + 5G SA.
Funny how the China models did not get mmWave when Huawei is capable of it.

Seemed like a lot of people are going from the Pro Max to the Pro for downsizing purposes. Me included, from 11 Pro Max to 13 Pro

Okay, since when does Singtel has mmWave 5G?

December 2020. I think M1 also has. Last time I went to M1 they said only the Samsung S21 Ultra supported mmWave.

Singapore too. Singtel has mmwave and M1 too. Only phone is the S21 Ultra that supports it at the moment. I mean its useful to have. The masses will be using the sub 6 5G networks.

The Pro Max is awful. Like carrying a brick in your shorts.

I think definitely the 13 pro max for its battery and 120hz refresh screen lol. if you use instagram and watch tiktok a lot, you should know that the battery on the 12 pro cannot last a full day. Lol.

Those buying the phone specifically for 5G is a bit wasted. Singapore’s 5G infrastructure is barely ready to make full use of it to begin with.

Someone tested 5G SA on Singtel. It is supported on the Singtel network, provided you change your sim card.
But based Singtel website stated only Samsung S21 series support 5G SA, so do Starhub and M1 be it with new 5G SIM Card or not.

There is no mention of 5G SA for iPhone 12 and newer on our 3 telcos officially.

Hope there is enough to go around :o

Changing from an 11 Pro Max to 13 Pro as well
I have large hands and I find trouble using it 1 handed even with the reachability function

Will definitely take some time getting used to consuming media on a smaller screen though

Ahhhh just checking with those who chose delivery as an option before, does the phone get delivered during office hours or it might turn up at night? Haven’t try delivery option from Apple, so if it’s office hours then I’ll likely send it to my office instead hur hur..
