The telcos phone subsidy been reduced quite a lot?. I remembered when I bought ip11pro max (256gb), the retail was 2k+ and telco 1k+ (Singtel combo3). Now ip3max(256gb) retail 1.9k+ but telco 1.2k+.

I took EM3+ on M1 which was really good value, i did cost-plan analysis and it was the cheapest one. About $609 off rrp. got another $50 off for corporate plan 'recontract' so $659 off RRP (Despite me being on M1 only for 1 month before that on a sim only plan LOL). For corporate also can pay $5 to add 25GB of data onto the EM3+ plan which is super good value.

on Singtel I ported into XO68 corporate plan costing around $55/mth. 30gb data. because sim only plan is $25 but you gotta pay $15/mth extra to get 5g addon, making it $40/mth without a phone, might as well get a phone together with it and enjoy extra $100 off handset porting over from M1 + subsidized price. Got my iphone 13 mini at $328, traded it in for $920 at ahbeng shop.


I just got a call from M1 regarding my issue as well, I have to say M1 customer service is AMAZING.

Based on my experience going to and fro with them over my iPhone 13 Pro Max, 5G and Apple watch cellular, they will waive of 40% of my Early Termination Charges. $240.

The last time i reached out to them with an issue, my contractor had wrecked my Fiber Optic cable during our new house renovation and my internet was down for 1 week +. they waived off half a month internet subscription even though it wasn't their fault.

they are definitely the most value for money telco/internet service provider with honestly the most flexible/understanding customer service i've seen so far.

honestly if they can allow me to use 5g and apple watch cellular (i'm sure they'll fix this in time) i'll definitely go back to M1, doesn't matter if their network isn't the fastest as long as it's usable.

after keying in e iOS generated code, on yr Android phone make sure u're connected to e SSID from e iPhone. password is same as e SSID name.

M1 has come a long way
No doubt they have the best customer service
Recalled they were trying to give me some perks when my contract ended and wanted to port out (all because of the network was draining my hp battery probably due to no fast dormancy supported)

Did u install Trace Together? If yes, can u temporary remove the bluetooth permission from trace together? Go to settings, scroll all the way down to look for trace together, under the Bluetooth, turn it off. This will prevent bluetooth from connecting to other devices since u using headphone which I suppose it's connected via bluetooth. Then see whether does it still heat up?

dont check for battery % but the amount of time spent running in background
dont look at the whole block as well, look at the interval and see what are the recurring apps other than safari

Standby and SOT are still better than most android phones
using 60% battery only, out of 80% charged
Hit 9h-10h SOT, best battery of all iPhones

Just expect a days usage out of your phone. This averages anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on light or heavy usage.

I used mine from 81% to 35% yesterday from 8am to 7pm on the iPhone 13.
