So forking out some extra for a better phone, still bearable haha

that why i skip last year model also. then this year change. surprising ip16 pro max still hold its value well.

Haha this year, the top-up seems a lot higher than what was the case last year, to the extent it’s now breaching $1,000. Very difficult to stomach now.

Depends. If a company wants to gain market share, they may decrease a bit. Airpods 5 dropped price didn't it?

Yeah, noticed AP5 cheaper than AP4 surprisingly.

Income will hardly keep pace with price increase one, unless doing other things than main income.

Not surprised demand is softer this time. The $100 price increase is quite painful, especially when the upgrade from the previous model doesn’t feel like a must-have for everyone. Personally I think I’ll wait for the year-end promos also. No point paying launch price when the phone is still perfectly usable
