hey guys.. how's the battery life for you all now?

around 8-9 hours usage (not counting standby time), mix of 3g+lte+wifi for music, whatsapp, wechat, light surfing, ebook reading. Usually by the time i sleep around 12am, left with 15-20%

I got hit 12hrs before. With light usage. Connected to wifi the whole day, just use whatsapp, occasional browsing and fb.

Anyways I always quit apps completely, don't run them in background

I also tried using wifi whole day and it really lasts very long.. but if I use 3g then it will drain quite fast

Guys, is there any 32g and 64g owner here facing battery drainage issue? As I've friends with 32g doesn't seems to have this problem yet most of the complaints were from 16g owner including myself.

Have you tried resetting network settings? That worked for me

How's your usage & standby time after resetting?
I had done quite a number of reset, DFU setup as new, disable whatever functions but not much of a improvement seen.

I had basically turned my smart phone into a dumb phone:(.

Best I had gotten so far was 5hrs of usage and 13hrs of standby.

There's definitely something wrong with the cellular data side, either that or Apple put an hugely exaggerated figure for their 3G/LTE browsing endurance. Like everyone else experienced, once I switched to wifi, the battery life increased at least 1x, from maybe about 5hrs to 10hrs of browsing internet.

Some texting, calls and some light surfing my ip5 will last me more than a day.

After you do a network reset, give it a couple days and your battery life should improve tremendously. Previously my ip5 was drained 25% overnight while sleeping and now it drains less than 5%.

Realized that App store & camera were running on background all times (non of it running on multitask bar) on my Iphone 5. However, I don't see these background activities on my old 3GS.

Still searching for solutions, it seems like app store on background constantly checking updates for whatever apps on the phone itself.
