Should I repair it or bring back to M1? I am afraid of the refurbished set.

Kinda redundant to ask this qns...isnt it obvious if its sensitive informations?

Backup everything using itunes and do a clean erase. Bring to M1 tell them got issue. If you jailbroken your phone restore to default setting before heading over to M1.

If the phone under your name, just bring the phone will do. If iphone under someone else name, need to bring receipt as a proof of purchase.

M1 will bring out a black box containing the refurb unit (With brand new housing and battery, other component may be savage from other iphone).

u check on the sport for dent scratches, if not happy reject it and they will give you a new one. Max they will bring out 3 sets for you to change. If all 3 got scratches or dent, you will have to choose the best one. If you die die cannot accept, then tell them dont want to exchange and come back again or go to a different M1 shop.

There is nothing wrong with refurbished set. All hardware is good and new. Everything is functional. Who tell you it is infected with diseases or inferior parts? Come on, it's Apple.

Well said.. I am not trying to be a fanboy or something but... Samsung phones dun even get a new refurb set when u run into problems.

Its Apple and that's why its made by Apple

1 to 1 exchange only for new handset purchased, right?

For 6-7 months old Iphone 5 with power button issue can exchange also ?

U'll learn to appreciate these refurbished sets when u use other brands of phones.

Refurbished sets have a new outer shell and battery.
