iPhone 5S Cases Showroom

Just a short review, I think most of you guys have already seen these casings already. Used to have Switcheasy and element metal bumper cases and etc for my 3GS and 4S, really so-so only. Wanted something different for my 5s, so during the last 2 months, got myself 3 spigen cases and a candy shell.

My ratings:
1. Tough Armor
2. Candy Shell
3. Ultra Hybrid
4. Slim Armor S

First I bought the Slim Armor S, but dislike the feeling like "peeling" on the top and bottom, the only plus point for me is very easy to take out.

Then tough armor for the gold color, offers outstanding drop protection as I dropped like 3-4 times during my reservist but a bit at the thicker side, still got slightly that "peeling" feel especially at the bottom, which I disliked. Can't really notice scratches at the back plastic as its in light color.

Ultra hybrid was supposed to be a gift for my girlfriend's 5s gold but she didn't want it as she preferred something more transparent. Slimmer than Slim Armor S and with the air cushion technology and its downside was that it scratches super easy at the back plastic.

Currently, using candy shell and finally don't have that "peeling" feel and very tight fit till its quite difficult to take out. About the same thickness as Slim Armor and between them, I prefer candy shell overall.

Except Tough Armor, all don't work with thicker aftermarket charging cables but no issues with glass protector as I'm using one.

Overall, I still prefer Tough Armor for the protection and with my big hands, it make my 5s feel bigger.

My next case will be customized element rogue case, will review that once I get it but just to check, anyone using it and does it fit with glass protector?

and your comments on most of SGP case ya it nice but not as lasting like the sctach on the transparent back ahah

im a fussy person so i dread those
even as in i dont mind to lost afew hundreds just to get a new one

looks like u SGP fan ahah
me swtich to magpul just too overal is felt tough but i am a careful person dont drop a single phone since my motorola etrac phone the big heavy blick haahahah and GH388 ericcson until now so many phone changed

It's not exactly the gold you see in the pictures, think my lighting makes some of the pictures look like the gold in ip5s, it's more towards bronze...

Privacy ones I think the 3M one is good.

No lah, i'm not a SGP fan, just bought it since its like a very "in" case nowadays and can be purchase locally without shipping. Personally, I prefer element case, bought one 2 years back for my 4s, cost a bomb and dropped it weeks later...knn sibei painful, see that scratch on the case..

for those using PSAJ, how do you guys maintain the case? its like dust gets trapped inside the case and if u wipe the case from the inside it scratches the case. =[

I'm using the Spigen SGP Glas.tR tempered glass screen protector, awesome quality and feel! Though quite expensive.

I'm using Mophie Juicepack air. It's going at $111 at SITEX. Expensive i say, but to me it's very nice. It provides better grip and added a little heft as I don't like my phone to me too light. With a GLAS.tR pasted on it, the phone will look really sleek.

My friend immediately dumped her S3 to get a 5S after seeing mine.

How many percent can the juice pack charge up the iPhone battery. Brought one during the show too, mine can charge up about 80 percent.

This casing looks good! How's the build quality and does it affect signal strength? Is the catch mechanism fragile? Thanks!
