iPhone 5S - Random / sudden reboot

Seems like its a random issue

Just tried again and doesnt crash this time.

OK I figured it isn't the camera app.

The multitasking has a bug.

How many apps have u running when it crashes (when you try to switch between apps)? I'd suspect Apple's implementation of the WebOS card-like multitasker isn't as robust as I'd expect.

Maybe if only 5 apps or less are being multi-tasked, then wouldn't crash during task switching...?

Wah heng tested on mine no problem!

It's random: I'd a lot of apps running in the background (including Camera, & VLC with paused playback) & I'm multitasking between them right now, & am experiencing no crashes. & yet on other days, a simple playing with the Settings (not even multi-tasking; just toggling some wireless stuff) will give me that pseudo-reboot.

I can confirm I have this problem too. Experienced reboot a few times

I am not a heavy apps user. I don't install games and my phone is 70% free memory

But it happens when I listen to music and browse internet

The hot spots for reboot is..

1) Multitasking and switching around / camera app
2) Bringing up control centre and disabling / enabling wifi..

Btw do u guys notice for 5S...when u multitasking.. it takes about 1 sec or so for the app to 'lock' or 'joinup' to the top of the screen? Its not like smooth. There is a small line ontop.

Yes, i encounter that too, that little moment when u bring up the apps during multitask. I hope it will be fix in the next update.

Ya I notice too the line ya not prefect smooth up

But coming from a android already felt iOS is quite smooth haha

Because 5 and 5C same hardwares. 5S is diff. Should be a software not optimized issue. Can be fix using updates.

The delay in the top of the app lining up with the top of the physical screen isn't present in the 4s as well; which I find odd considering that the 5s is supposed to have the best performing hardware amongst the 4s, 5 & 5c.

It's also clearly evident the iOS is caching thumbnail previews instead of presenting live previews of certain apps when far too many apps are being multi-tasked, i.e. when I have way too many apps running, often the thumbnail preview of my web browser app will not be the same webpage when the browser is actually resurrected.

Ok i got the reboot again. Was in the multitasking menu.
Think the multitasking feature is bugged

I feel the multi tasking abit laggy, when you bring up the screen, still need to wait awhile first before you can start scrolling and clicking..

The 5C is much smoother when multitasking. Puts the A7 to shame.

Damn.. used ios 7.0.3 and the fone rebooted while I was in a call!
