iPhone 5S refurbished sets?

Of cos i will get the brand new set. But for apple is different, cosmetic is brand new so is the battery.

Since apple only do exchanges and they do not give brand new set to exchange, then why should you be scrutinising it to see if its brand new or refurb?

If you cannot accept their exchange policy, then dont buy iphone lor.

I just couldnt understand why other consumers like to pick on such policy when they themselves choose to buy the phone in the first place.

Really? And you think ALL iFruity customer actually know about this return policy (that they ALWAYS give refurbished unit if they can, not the other way round) before they bought the unit?

So long it works and look flawless, why bother if it's a refurb or brand new?

Because they DO NOT change every parts. And for those of you who actually think that they bother testing the unit exhaustively (for a unit that is at best going to be sold at a slight discount?), you are deluding yourself ... or you are under-estimating the complexity and number of things that can go wrong and need to be tested in a smartphone.

Not lasting? I beg to differ. So many iphones around me are cracked and damaged, while I can pass my S2 down to my daughter after 2 years and more just by changing the battery, which is dirt cheap.

That's cause your G2 wasn't dropped like those iphones were.

between ,i have seen sammy phone with crack screens also.

more iphone user than sammy user not using a casing for their iphone or flip cover to protect their phone. that is because when iphone drops. it don split into parts,we just pick it up and go. while sammy ,u drop and have to search for ur parts and replace back all parts. this is where flip cover come to use. sammy user use flip cover to avoid parts spliting all around and this prevent the screen from cracking.
i hope this answer to ur question why ur s2 last so long. and i have an old iphone 4 which lasted till now from the first day it launch and my father is still using it without using any casing. screen did not crrack as easy as u mentioned
