my humble contributions. thanks to the contributors who showed me the way. got my casing at burlington sq after work.

Spigen Tough Armor Smooth Black
Spigen Slim Armor Mint

Price a little steep imo at $39 each (if you compare with the online prices), but definitely worth the money. the hard cover makes it feel so solid in my hand. those who are getting this, be warned that smudges will stick at the metal plate very often.

initially wanted to get the Tough Armor for my gf as well, but no mint color that she wanted. i settled on the slim armor cos too lazy to go back there again. i think somehow my choice is justified cos the slim armor is more feminine with the smooth and rounded edges. while the tough armor definitely hv that masculine feel to it.

iirc, slim armor is cheaper than tough armor on the us site, but it is priced the same here. so it is recommended to get the tough armor instead for value. i got $10 discount just by liking their fb page. saw a couple of ppl at the shop when i went, and more were coming in as i was leaving. seems like they enjoying good business!

Is the camera area cover the protruding camera? Mean the camera is inside/behind the casing..

Yup it does cover the camera. If you can see clearly the picture, there are cushions at each corner, i think that's to prevent scratching the back cover.

Currently using the translucent EggShell case which I don't feel that it has enough protection. Thinking of getting the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Clear which looks better. Anyone know if Epicentre or Nubox carry this?

Use free shipping then it's $3. I ordered something similar and still waiting for it to arrive.
