iphone 6 plus HIGH DATA USAGE?

I called up starhub i check on what is draining my data, apparently its icloud. After i log out of my icloud, the data usage is more reasonable.

I have the same data usage problem once I switched to 6plus...and I seriously seriously seriously think the Facebook app is the main culprit....

The Settings / Mobile or Cellular will already tell which is causing using too much data.
I think Singtel is charging minimum of 100KB blocks. so sometimes it is better to be always online.

for icloud, disable cellular data for Photos.

For me, I have disabled these apps to use my data plan

Youtube
App Store

Telcos here deliberately do that, hopefully u'll exceed the free data limit and pay additional charges.

They can just reduce as they wish. Only in SG.

i have the same problem on my ip5. Its right after i updated to ios 8.4 (July period) then the data spiked a lot. 7gb and 11gb for the past 2 mths. Googled a bit and saw that it's an ios software issue. I also reset my cellular data stats and tested the data usage. Surfed net on safari for 1 min took 80mb! Ridiculous.

Tried to restore phone but also same problem. Need to wait till ios9 to release and install, hopefully can solve this bug. In the meantime, call ur telco to waive the excess data charges cos i did.

You have my vote. Absolutely correct. Friends 4S did they same to him.

My advise is to go through every setting. Some are hidden deep in the sub menu and turn off those settings.

suspect is carousell, as mine also overshot after using carousell app

common culprits are youtube, fb and ig
