I don't believe in glass screen protectors... I've been using the cheaper ones and am very happy with it. I change it once every 6 months, still cheaper than buying one tempered glass SP lol...

I'm too rough with my phone, cannot don't use SP bah sure scratch

Both got their benefits lah. Glass the touch and clarity is very good and more scratch resistant but for this new phones, I believe cannot cover the entire screen due to curved edges. There are already many reports/ reviews saying that the new phone actually doesn't need SP, I just play safe tho.

eh no lei... cheap one difference quite huge... both in the application process, the wear and tear rate, and the touch (referring to those $1 SP u can get off ebay)

I usually stick to SPIGEN ones, and recently I funded a kickstarter that claims to have impact resistance. Pretty impressive lol.

My cheap ones are the ones that came free with the case. I tried spigen and ps, zagg and a few others but other that the different catagories like anti-fingerprint, high clarity etc. I hardly see much of a difference after few months all also wear and tear. YMMV.

I think overall technology keeps improving, maybe we will see better screen protectors in future like the Rhinoshield you posted.

Get AppleCare+

Tbh I don't think AppleCare+ is that enticing as you hope to be.

• The cost of AppleCare+ is S$138.
• They claimed to add one more year of warranty. (rephrased from the "AppleCare+ for iPhone extends your coverage to two years from the original purchase date of your iPhone and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage.")
• To take advantage of the accidental damage each, you still have to fork out S$108 service fee.
• Your own phone that you wanted to send for RMA won't be the same phone you get back. Very low chance you get a new unused virgin one. Most of the time is a refurbished unit, and you have no idea what was the initial history of that refurbished unit.

At the end of the day, you have to judge S$246 / S$354 is worth it.
My recommendation is that you rather repair on your own, since iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is the most easily repaired model yet in iPhone history, with 7/10 ifixit repair scores.
Want parts, ship from china. Cheaper that way.

Also for those of you using the spigen crystal screen protectors, does it cover the full screen of the 6+ ?

To each his own but I see no point in spending close to $100 for tempered glass. A decent brand plastic one like Spigen crystal will do for me.

Its ironic that people talk about the "classy" feel of aluminium then buy a plastic casing which turns the phone into a plastic toy which was precisely what they were laughing at Samsung about.

the full 2 years of warranty is now with the service centre. Telcos no longer service iPhones.
