You still dont get what I mean ah :)

WiFi is so mature and apple allow this problem to happen on their newly launch iphone .. Unbelievaable.

Similar if you buy a branded notebook and you cannot connect via WiFi. Will you beleive it?

Or should I put it, unforgivable?

How can a phone call being blocked in a software upgrade release?
What is the main purpose of a phone?
Is to make a phone call.
No one ever test before releasing it to the public ?

I see..

Other iPhones iOS 7 no problem with Wifi but after update to iOS 8 have problems so someone screwed up with the software
Maybe they add too many features like handoff and stuff unlike break the wireless connectively code or something

Yeah they really screwed up with the 8.0.1 update..

5C user here. After days of monitoring and observation, I can confirm it's an iOS 8 issue. Tried resetting network settings and turning off wifi networking only helps for awhile then becomes slow again. No choice but to revert back to iOS 7.1.2 for now. My wifi is perfect once again. IMO, 7.1.2 is still best for now.

iOS 8 is not ready for prime time. It's rushed out for iPhone 6 launch.

My wifi will disconnect randomly and ask for the wifi password again...

and i find that my video streaming is slow on my iPhone 6+ than my iPhone 5 even though both are on the same network...

And my keyboard click sounds seems to be very soft as compared to my other iPhones...

Since iOS 8.0.2 is out, anyone bothered trying it to see if it solves the problem? Or all still busy living in the past and complaining about 8 or 8.0.1?

iPhone 6 user here, my WIFI seems to be a bit problematic too. It loses connection from my home WIFI and goes to Mobile Data. I have to switch off Mobile Data to prevent from accidentally using up my data limit.

Sometimes it will still lose connection etc. HTC One didnt face any such problems last week.

wifi issue is still there even after update to 8.0.2.

I compared between iPad mini retina (iOS 7.1.2) with my 5s (iOS 8.0.2). On pings to same addresses e 5s always has much more latency n sometimes drops packets.

running 5ghz wifi at home.

I can change my home router channels.
But I cannot change other router channels.
So this is not fixing the root of problem.
Moreover it is working with other devices at home all this while..

I'm using a iPhone 6 Plus and I don't have any issues with the Wi-Fi. It's working perfectly for me. I'm on iOS 8.0.2.
