kill all apps in iphone, reboot phone. then try put in airplane mode.

then create new user in PC. then backup on pc.
check if you other programs running in background.
maybe try disable antivirus if you have

Hey there,

Need advise :(

I have updated my itunes to IOS 7.1.2 yesterday. And has successfully sync my new songs into my iphone 4.

However when i attempt to backup my iphone 4 on both my computer and icloud, a message popped out saying "itunes could not back up the iphone because a session could not be started". I have also tried the following suggestions from other websites but couldn't help:
- restart computer, restart itunes and restart iphone
- delete my previous backup found under preferences -> devices
- clear up my computer space

And situation got worsen when this syncing session clear all my calendar schedule and now my calendar is left emptied.

Any experts out there can help to provide remedies?

Hi just something to share for those who are unable to connect to the iTunes store.

1. Start
2. Command Prompt
3. Type in "netsh winsock reset" (without the "s)
4. Restart computer

Worked for me.
