Luckily you lost S$250-00, compare to the lady who lost S$200,000-00 in the crime watch shown earlier.

TS has lost hope. And Harald, maybe you should send SMS to the scammer tomorrow why his package has yet to arrive.

should prank him or something (;

That cunning person might be even reading this thread, to update himself on what he needs to avoid, and come up with a better plan to scam people!

my advise here is. follow what -ForRubblish- has advised you and do as told.

contact yahoo and ST for his ip add and etc. Print out bank transfer statement.

Don't just rely on the police to work day and night just for your $250 scam where they have $200,000 scam to deal with.

I personally helped someone with a molest case before, and thought the police can be as efficient as everyone thought they can be.

But with the evidences (e.g finger prints on the windows of crime scene) and etc i still see the policeman himself using his OWN HAND WITHOUT ANY GLOVES OR EQUIPMENT to take out these evidences, thus i believe, causing the molester's finger print to be unclear or distorted.

Not long after, they send a mail to us stating "insufficient evidence" and thus the case was dropped.

So was justice done?

Soooooo. do the work yourself if possible :D good luck!

*This post is meant for the TS, and i guess he should be emo-ing at 1 corner after a few posts :(*

Just found this thread and realised that I'd been conned.

The new identity for the conman is danegoh.hiong[at]gmail.com (HWZ marketplace ID: icedwhitechock) as I'm the new victim and just learnt a new lesson @ S$800 + S$18 money transfer fee from Western Union. Just to provide some details of the scam so that the search engine is able to index and more people is saved. I didn't start a new thread like "iPad Cheat" as it will take longer time for search engine to index and this may result in more people getting cheat. Below is the detail

Con man Fake Identity:
Name: Ng Nicholas or Nicholas Ng
Email: danegoh.hiong[at]gmail.com
HWZ marketplace ID: icedwhitechock
NRIC: S8405540B
DOB: 29-02-1984
Oversea Address: Cebu Crowne Regency Suites, Fuente Tower, osmena street, cebu, ph, philippines, post code 6000
Phone: +65 83887915
Oversea Phone: +63 9234655653
Air21 Representative Phone: +63 9176652669 (This should be a voice-over-ip phone due to the delay in between the conversation)
Tracking number: 8505 6640 7720 (12 digit for Air21)
Air21 acct no: 40885704933 / corp. acct
Harmonized Code: EPL07Z40
iPad Serial / Hardware Code: SN HW0510NDZ3A

My story:
Wanting to get a iPad 3G 64GB within my budget (S$800) and found the conman posting. Email him and the response is fast (within 1-2hrs). I had emailed quite few prospect but he is the only one that got back to me and with fast response. Initial negotiation being carry out. The story he told me is convincing (including Singish, live nearby you and can tell you there's a post office at a shopping centre near your house, etc) and the one that caught me most is that he told me that his mother is contacted with cancer and currently having chemotherapy and in need of money. Coincidentally, my father just passed away last week and he is contacted with cancer too. Therefore, out of sympathy, I decided to buy from him so that he can use the money to help his mother soon possible and I think it is ok to pay him first since he had sent over the faked delivery/billing receipt from Air21 and his identity card (me too think that the identity card is a fake one and he maybe a victim too so would not post his ID).

Before sending the money, I had done some research on the delivery/billing receipt from the Air21 and google for any fraud cases but I found none. This is probably due to this case is iPad not iPhone therefore the fraud info is unavailable for reference. I realised about it maybe a fraud case after I had transferred the money over and he sms me that he got it and will keep each other posted with email. But since then, he never reply. Today, the good is not delivered and I did another round of search using the phone number +63 9234655653 and found this thread. With this thread, I can confirm it is a fraud case.

Currently, he is still conning people in HWZ marketplace and his latest posting id is 50757

And I realised that I made a big mistake to alert him by posting a comment on the possibility that he is a conman and give him a chance to get away. But, the pro of this move is at least it serves as a warning for others. Hopefully, someone can track him down and save others. Though I'm a veteran in online purchase but sometimes things just happened. Hope this post can help. Cheers!
