I sold off my F8 due to many of the shopping apps browsing experience on the inner display irks me. Mostly not optimised for such display. Let's see whether third party developers will optimised their apps to suit Duo than Android base foldable.

Which Edge case you have bought? There's a retailer Mobyshop that does sell Pitaka cases in the ballpark pricing of Pitaka direct than Challenger which is quite expensive.
Oic, I didn't know shopping apps don't work well on F8.. Shopee & Lazada works well on my F8U. Maybe coz candybar foldables form factor is very established liao.

I didn't know Moby sells pitaka too. I got go to their shop at FEP before to buy ZF7 mint color, in the end I didn't use that phone coz supposedly its 60 days warranty has ended although they sold it as "Brand new sealed". I jitao sell it to rwm at a loss of $400. Bought $1970 thereabouts, sold $1580. I noticed Official Pitaka shopee anyhow jerk up their pricing to exorbitant $99. Challenger also quite exp right?

I bought Stillnight Edge, their inspiration of the design came from the Northern Lights scenery and I like it alot.

Can wait for Duo's embargo to lift off on 21st Oct Wed 8pm. To see those YT tech influencers' reviews on app compatibility. Hope you will be satisfied with your Duo bro.

Apple says iPhone Duo has ‘replaceable’ folding display layer to minimize crease.

The iPhone Duo has a unique design feature to ensure a “day one” type experience for years to come: a replaceable cover layer on the folding display.

A cover layer replacement costs USD19 with AppleCare+. Its cost without coverage is currently unknown.

I think it is referring to the nano textured screen protection layer.

So it's acting like a screen protector, good enough for me.

S$24 to replace the nano textured screen doesn't seems too expensive.

Does anyone know whether Apple’s “Get Ready” feature for the iPhone Duo will also be available in Singapore from 12 October?

I came across this article saying that Apple will allow customers in the US to use “Get Ready” from 12 October to prepare their iPhone Duo pre-order in advance:

'Get Ready' to pre-order the iPhone Duo starting October 12

It looks like the feature lets you select your model, colour, storage, carrier, payment method, trade-in, etc. ahead of time, so the actual pre-order on 16 October should be much quicker.

I know Singapore is included in the first wave of iPhone Duo availability, but I haven't seen any confirmation that the “Get Ready” feature will be available on the Singapore Apple Store.

Has anyone seen this option on the Singapore Apple website or Apple Store app? Or does anyone know whether it will be enabled here on 12 October?
