Then why talk about seatbelts, steering, able to move... these are already what you paid for.
Cause your mercedes example talk mainly about aftersale servicing and maintenance.

My question to you however, is about expected features of a phone. A really expensive phone.

Because you talked about expecting a cloud based storage solution to be included in the purchase of a hardware. It's the same as having aftersales servicing and maintenance for a mercedes.

Feature of an iphone is that it can be backed up to a computer and icloud cloud service, it does not come with a PC to do that, or a subscription to iCloud (except for the 5GB free storage with all iCloud accounts).

Thus my query back with reference to mercedes and it's aftersales.

Cloud backup should be an expected service. A fairer comparison would be buying a luxury car without airconditioning

Cloud exists off the device, just like wear and tear on car. So how can it be expected? So you buy a car, you expect them to service the car in your home since servicing is an expected service?

Airconditioning is part of the delivery of a hardware (car) you purchased, of course it's included and expected, When you test the car, it is with aircon. When you test the phone at the shop, does it come with Cloud?

Dont bs me. apple icloud is built-in to all apple devices. It's part of the apple infrastructure.

Sure, airconditioning is part of the car product, just like how icloud is also part of the apple product.

if being able to use the airconditioning while using the car is expected, then being able to use icloud is also to be expected when using an apple phone.

Doh, iCloud is a SERVICE, it's not built in to all apple devices. It OPERATES with the devices. It's part of Apple's ECO system and infrastructure, but it does not come FREE. And I already mentioned, there is 5GB free per iCloud account, so what are you trying to get at?

As i mentioned, icloud is an expected service. Expected on that it should be paid for when you bought the product.

Noone is asking you how apple do things currently.

i say icloud should be an expected service, you go n jjww about how if it's expected, then aftersale servicing and maintenance should also be part of it.
i been trying to get through to you about how it's a terrible comparison, and that a better comparison would be comparing icloud with airconditioning in cars.

Then u jjww again about how aircon is built-in, icloud is not, then u lose your sai when i correct you saying icloud is indeed built-in to all apple devices..

Then now you become apple salesperson helping apple justify why they feel it's alright to charge for expected services?

Bruh, you dense?

Trying to sway the direction of the discussion to fan apple vs android doesn't show how brilliant you are, it just shows you are nothing but a sh1t stirrer with no intentions to discuss properly. You are simply stuffing words and stuff in the way you want without understanding and apply any train of thoughts.

Since you wanna behave this way, there's no point in continuing, have fun sounding smart, people can tell.

says the 1 trying so hard to defend apple's despicable practices. right from the getgo you yapping about how ppl are "too poor/cheap" to pay for a necessary service, when said service is to be expected.

then keep swaying with ridiculous examples to defend apple's practices.

typical.
