iPhone X battery replacement

Hi all,

am wondering if I should replace original Apple battery, or those compatible ones at reputable mobile phone shops, due to price difference

anyone has any experience to share?

it’s like $99 by apple? Not as if it’s astronomical? Unless you can’t really afford that?

3rd party also not dirt cheap.

For battery stuff, would rather go with original by apple

3rd party battery sometimes not sure how good they are. If my phone is good (except the batt) i will go for apple to do it.

I had an excellent experience getting the battery of my iPhone X at the apple store. Apart from swapping out the battery, the tech also cleaned out the gunk accumulated at the speakers housing. The wait was about 2 hours.

go Apple Orchard to do it la.
went twice already. once before warranty was up and end Jul this year.
used iPhone X for 3 years++. still going strong lol.

If it’s within warranty, below 80% can change for free.

if it’s without warranty, really depends on whether you can tahan the shorter battery life. No hard and fast rule

My battery health already at 76% already tahan liao one day need charge 3-4 times. So can get it on the spot? Do we need to do any backup for the phone data? Btw after changed to new battery@$99 le will be good to use for how many more years?

can get it around 2 to 3 hours on the same day. you should always backup your phone first. I think if battery change should be able to last another 2 years of normal use.

Coz of the parts used but the third party I think. Apple don't wanna take the risk for any issue if you swop for a third party party.

cause it has been repaired before?
