Currently the market's iphone X is around 1 - 1.1k for 256gb with around 1-2 months warranty.

Iphone XR is around 1299 for 128gb.

you check and compare side by side then decide. . if i have this choice, would choose Xr over X. Resolution seems to be acceptable, esp coming from 6 or 7 series phones.

But if resolution and camera matters, would save a bit to get xs/max.

If u r not on re-contract then wait for a while. The phone dealers will sell XR at cheaper price than apple store. U can also see dealers selling XS n XS max at afew hundreds below apple official price

oled does look better but it doesn’t look much better than Apple lcd. To me it doesn’t improve much on user experience. XR battery life is longer than XS Max. Anyway go see the real thing and decide for yourself.

Yes. Is better u see the real set urself. If u not oled or iPhone X user. The screen should be fine for u. I’m ip x user. I find the screen is downgrade for me for the xr.

They are built upon the foundation of the X, and will have 1 more year of OS updates compared to the X.

It's actually not that difficult to choose.

iPhone X:
1. Oled display with higher ppi
2. Duel camera lens which can do 2x optical zoom and portrait mode on object
3. 3D Touch

iPhone XR:
1. Faster cpu
2. Better camera for low light
3. Able to adjust f-stop while taking or after taking pictures in portrait mode

See what is more important for you.

Most of them no money to buy iphone x/xs and they came from iphone 7 so don't expect them to know much. But I'm surprised they immediately say oleds are overrated since they never use before

If u so gian the oled display to opt for an older generation phone then go for it. I personally will take Xr over x simply for the better camera, better processor and cheaper price.

'cheaper price' of $1229 can buy note 9 with 1440p super amoled with top camera with afew hundreds to spare
Be an apple fan but Don't be a sheep
I doubt your better battery life with lousy display can even outlast a 4000mah note 9 with FHD+ display
