Mostly due to app or gps enabled
Check what u installed before it happen to isolate the problem

have u tried a hard reboot first?

Something is running in the background of your device. Look up your location access and see if something is trying very hard to get a GPS lock.

Thanks guys..i did a reboot yesterday before i sleep when phone was 100%

this morning wake up it is still 100%...

hmmm...airplane mode not equal to off GPS services??

oh ya i close all background apps before i airplane mode...

Hi, I just switched from android to iPhone X. Was trying to do some setting for the missed call notification, those repeat sound reminder when the phone is locked. Normally it will sound notification in every 1-2minutes until I unlock the phone. Can anyone enlighten me in this area? Thank you.

I used the authentic Apple fast charging cable, and my battery health drops from 100% to 97% in just 2 days... Anyone experience this issue?

It used to be 100% all along...

Fast charging uses more Battery cycles since you charge up twice as fast as you drain.

Apple's explanation here: https://www.apple.com/sg/batteries/why-lithium-ion/

You complete one charge cycle when you’ve used (discharged) an amount that equals 100 per cent of your battery’s capacity — but not necessarily all from one charge.

For instance, you might use 75 per cent of your battery’s capacity one day, then recharge it fully overnight. If you use 25 per cent the next day, you will have discharged a total of 100 per cent, and the two days will add up to one charge cycle.

It could take several days to complete a cycle. The capacity of any type of battery will diminish after a certain amount of recharging.

With lithium-ion batteries, the capacity diminishes slightly with each complete charge cycle.

I am having an issue with my side button. Sometimes when I press once to wake the phone, it wouldn't respond. I will have to press one more time for it to respond. But then, it registers as two quick successive presses which result in activating my Apple Pay feature, showing my credit card and attempting to scan my face to authorize use of the card. Can be quite annoying when it happens. Can't seem to replicate this issue and seems random.

Facing the same issue. :(

Just got to live with it.

Another issue I’m facing is using Face ID with App Store. I cannot use Face ID to download applications even Face ID enabled. No problems with other ibanking apps.

Huh, I don't see how Apple's explanation saying how fast charging uses up more battery cycles. They're comparing charge %, not charge speeds, whether or not you gain 25% in 10mins or 30 mins makes no difference to the battery cycle from my understanding.

My understanding is the same as yours. Haha but I guess some ppl like to think that if you charge your phone quicker, you can use your phone more, and thus use up charge cycles faster.

also the phone hangs very often and i have to force restart to get it working again.

No. It is normal for it to happen if you are out in the cold. Keep your device updated and ensure it is updated higher or equal to iOS 11.1.2

Apple's guidelines, the iPhone X is designed to work normally at temperatures between of 0 to 35 degrees Celsius. You've to keep the device warm to use, the battery is very sensitive to the temperatures and can and will kill the device also the device tries to protect it by throttling cause the battery health state is affected.

Its not. Its only after he mentioned, I go scrutinise, really can see the slight jitter

But its really very very brief. so brief that it goes unnoticed most of the time

Hi mikeeeey, you replied me in March about my posting of iPhone X shaky screen from page 1 to 2 after exit from any apps. Do you still experience these?

I have stated weeks ago that when you exit any app from your 1st page
of your screen then swipe to the 2nd page, there is a shaky/glitch from the screen. Need to observe carefully. I have tried on many X from my friends. All facing this issue. I hope that Apple will look into it.

I tried doing this but didn't see. What is the best way to notice the jitter? E.g. keep staring a certain location on the screen?

Apple still haven't resolve the screen orientation of the camera app if open using shortcut (hard press on the shortcut icon at lock screen)! Hopefully iOS 12 can solve this. :s22:

Is your wallpaper in perspective mode? If so then, It is likely the sensor coming into effect that causes the wallpaper to shift?

So I turned my phone to landscape while in the lock screen and i used the shortcut to go to camera. The UI elements are in the correct orientation and it knows it is in landscape mode both on iOS 11 and iOS 12. What is this bug specifically?
