Just go to Apple Orchard and buy lot. I went there at 2pm. 5mins payment done and left. Apple staffs more than walk in. A lot of stocks for iphone xr

Finally touch this at Harvey Normal Westmall.
Everything was great, giving it 8/10.
Just can't accept the playing resolution on youtube, its blur on my eyes.
Camera wise still great, but cant close up as ipX, XS / Max.

Is the resolution that bad? Wanted to try youtube on the phone at store but does not seems to have it built in. Only concern for me before buying is how bad the display is

The biggest letdown is 720, if it 1080 it will be perfect.
Most probably 1080 will be gen 2

Play youtube from the browser? If play from the browser, it's only HQ, not HD.

The screen is as sharp as my iPhone X, seriously I'm unable to notice the difference at a normal viewing distance.

A chinese reviewer said if you’re watching at 10cm then yes there’s a difference. Otherwise difference is almost insignificant beyond that.

tested the phone at singtel. honestly i cant see the difference in resolution even with the xs max beside it and i usually pixel peep.

the only down side is the bezel. it feels 2 times thicker. but at certain angle it feels lesser.

Was at Apple store. I airdrop and compared a photo. Screen looks pretty good given it is an LCD. Contrast and color tone just a bit not as good. But still very good
