Singtel should be the first since they supported eSIM on Apple Watch S3 but not sure when. HK/China version with physical dual sim slots already working. My friend shown me this pic in Vietnam

Do Starhub and M1 also not support Apple eSIM?

Starhub says: "eSIM FAQ
Need help setting up your eSIM with the Samsung Gear S3 frontier (LTE)? Please download the troubleshooting guide at samsung or contact the device manufacturer for assistance."

Nobody in Singapore supports this eSIM? It seems like not a very good “standard” if it can be “supported on Samsung but not Apple”.

Hi

I understand the new iPhone's comes with dual sim ( Esim + nano ), my question to Singtel is whether Esim can be activated and they replied not ready.

Anyone know anything about the current Esim facility by telco's for the new iPhones.

Search from the news, they still not able to support 4G with HD voices call, again this is stronger singtel wifi network to coverage the whole Singapore.
But Singapore is it extended their wifi for the whole island wide?

AFAIK, our telcos aren't ready to provide e-SIM to us yet, so your iPhone will generally still be "single SIM".

When will they be ready? I'm also wondering...

For the telco is it not the same as Apple Watch e-Sim?

Why can’t Apple just sell the true dual sim versions like for China market here ?

Esim is the future. Apple is creating the direction, just like the removal of the 3.5mm jack.

If they don't do it, everyone will keep using outdated technology.

Yeah maybe esim is the future, but I disagree on the earphone jack. Sound quality of wired earphones still better than Bluetooth ones for now,

Soon android devices will use e sim too

eSIM may be the future, but why bring in eSIM phones when the country's telcos aren't ready with their eSIMs? :s11:

Anyway, is Vietnam eSIM-ready? I'm wondering about that guy who's first in the Apple queue, happily came from airport and rush to catch his flight back after he got his iPhone. Did he realize Hong Kong is the one with the physical dual-SIM and not here? :s22:
