iPhone XS Esim question

IOS 12.1 will officially supports eSIM, most probably have to wait till then.

Still no news from local telecom about eSIM.

I think it will take darn long for them to support it. Singtel maybe earlier but for the other 2... hmmm. Well i maybe wrong. Even their wifi calling also no one knows what it does and its features.

Or plan to sell phone u need go telco to deactivate it before can sell

always a tradeoff but better than nothing. i think it'll still be a choice for consumer to activate esim on iphone.

like that telco would usually charge an activation fee. but monthly not sure, we just have to wait.

Same as changing sim cards where they may charge $30+. Anyway im on physical dual sim model... dont wanna worry about esim for now.

I was also hesitating about getting an export (HK) set, but the thought of all the doubts dealing with e-SIM and whatnots, deciding to take whatever risk with HK set first.

Ya... asked several questions on the line to apple sg, went to apple store at orchard. Quite convinced its fine to get the HK set.

Telecom companies will only tell you that they are working with Apple in order to introduce esim to their customers. I am wondering whether HK set iPhone are covered by warranty of Apple if they are not purchased in HongKong by myself? Say if I buy from some local mobile phone shop can I request warranty at Apple orchard?

eSIM will be launching as soon as iOS 12.1 is official which could be next week after the Apple Event.

For SG, Singtel should be one of the eSIM telco.

Actually maxis MY same as Singtel for Huawei watch or iwatch useable for Iphone.
But make download the beta 12.1 for esim capable function as well.

Does your sim tray able to hold 2 sims?
