iPhone XS Esim question

I think Apple philosophy is to make thing simple, the more dual apps you have the more confuse you are.

Sometimes with a fugapp with many groups also text wrongly, already confusing enough especially while I was busy. I don’t need dual FugApp, I don’t like IM.

That’s personal preference of coz.

iOS have lots of restrictions so I doubt it will happen. But I still like to use iOS over android.

Can’t turn off eSIM? Oh no..

Currently you can only turn esim on/off. Very unlikely when they enable on/off on physical sim and remove the previous feature

With iOS 12.1.1 Beta 3, you can turn off either SIM. Be it eSIM or 2 physical SIM.

Android cannot support 2 WhatsApp account natively. It is the manufacturer of dual SIM phone that allows it from their framework. Anyhow, it it not that straightforward.

It is possible to have two WhatsApp account on one iphone. I am doing it now, without jailbreak. Just that for one of the account you have to “reload” it every 7 days to refresh the certificate and for this account it cannot be backed up to iCloud (at least I have not found a way to do it).

My method does not involve installing tweakbox or appvalley

Do you mind sharing how you do it ?
I think it’s quite unlikely that Apple will make this feature available in their iOS so any alternative is worth considering for the convenience of dual sim dual WhatsApp in 1 phone

You need to trust some external sources for this to work, 2nd WhatsApp will be installed on your same phone with the help of following steps -

Download and install WhatsApp on your iPhone from the iOS App Store the usual way. Activate it using your main phone number. Thats’s it. You’re done installing the first instance of WhatsApp!
Now to install second instance, launch the Safari browser on your iPhone(Note: Safari browser is required)
Copy the URL in Safari browser http://ios.othman.tv
Once there, tap WhatsApp 2.
You will now see an orange colored WhatsApp icon, and just below it, a green button. Simply tap that green button to download WhatsApp 2.
iOS will now prompt you with a dialogue box asking you if you would want to install the app, or cancel it. Tap Install to begin the download.
You can now exit Safari and wait for WhatsApp 2 to be downloaded and installed.
Once installed, launch the Settings app, navigate to Settings > General > Profile.
Here, tap Trust “VNE Software and…”and when prompted to confirm, hit the Trustbutton.
