iPhone Xs / Max warm screen

So how you set not to have the yellowish thing?

I only turned off True Tone after googling.

Not sure if there's good or bad, though.

My iPhone X has True Tone enabled.

So but its weird if iPhone X has true tone enabled and don't have yellowish while the XS/XS Max has the yellowish screen.

So there's something weird with the screen of the XS Max, I guess.

Actually, when I turned off the True Tone on the XS Max and compare, became the X is slightly yellowish, though not as bad.

Hope the screen doesn't die on me, anyway.

it's common issue on some iPhone X before they said to turn off true tone for that.... never really notice such issue on my X.

I guess >50% of the xs max in the market having yellow tint issue, but why no one cares about this? dont they notice the different?

bought from telco and I deeply regret this decision as I can't exchange, wished I bought from Apple Store Online

I have exchanged 3 iPhone XS to date. Some says the XS is intentionally made with a warmer white point than iPhone X. BUT! Then why are there demo sets with cooler white points in Apple orchard and other retailers.

Just shows Apple's margin for variations is not that strict.

I've compared the sets I got with the more than 10 in Apple Orchard and other shops, and I'd say mine have been warmer to almost all of them.

For now, I'm waiting for a coulpe of weeks or so before buying again.

The yellowish display might be caused by the glue under the screen
It definitely is not normal.
If made warmer intentionally then what is true tone for
I do not use true tone and my screen stays warm
How can

This yellow screen problem is not new. Since iPhone 7 already have this problem
My first iPhone 7 plus screen is perfect white balance
Then I bought another iPhone 7 plus red version, kenna this yellow tinted display issue
Definitely not intentionally made to be warm.
