Curious , does anyone go without tempered glass on their iPhone before? I’m thinking of getting only a case this time round. Do away with screen protector.

It does protect against scratches but I am not so sure about against shattering. Because energy can be transferred from the screen protector to the actual glass itself.

Thanks for the reply. This is something I’ve always wonder. If there is a hard enough knock, then probably screen protector and hp screen will be damaged in the process.

Yeah, exactly. I am looking for a thin one, either glass or hydrogel just to prevent scratches when put into my pockets. Going for the Nomad leather case purely for the front screen bump.

Does anyone know if the Apple leather case front screen bump is high for the iPhone 12 series?

It'll fit but the notch is smaller so depending on your 12 PM glass cutout - it might look weird, and the speaker position also moved to the top near the bezel
