Not a single scratch on mine on the outside after using it for 6 months. The same cannot be said of the inner surface if your pockets have a lot of fine dust. The Rubber Black is better if you don't want to see them.

Nope, they feel the same to me. Grippy enough that my phone won't be slipping out of my hand anytime soon, but not too much that it gets stuck in my jeans pocket.

Nice grippy case because of the rough textured surface. Also easy to hide scratches on the case.

I am using the full range interchangeably thus I can tell u the difference.

Rubber black is the most grippy of all the AJs.

the OUTSIDE surface of the AJs are coated with a layer of scratch resistant material. They called it self healing coating or whatever but heck it really works lol. however on the INSIDE surface there’s no coating.

Long time users of the the PSAJ can support this claim.

PSAJ by far to me is the best thin plastic case with all sides properly protected. And at around $20-30 per piece after discount there’s basically no complains from me!

Also one of the very few brands left which are still made in Japan .

Another option is the PITAKA magEZ. If you like thin, grippy and anti scratches. Really amazing quality for its price.
