Then you should just stay with the leather skins hahaha, they look good. 😃

Don’t get tempted by these unnecessary cases

Just gotten my Apple Finewoven casing from Lazada. Casing is very light and I like it a lot. All buttons working as intended. The button feedback is real good. The fitting is also quite tight. Overall, this purchase is good for me. MagSafe for me is decent. My wallet doesn’t drop off, so the magnet strength is there. But I feel $39 is still a bit higher. Should be around the $30 range. BUT it’s still cheaper than Apple Store $89.

Overall this finewoven is still better than Bare Skin imo.

Woah, $39 and "still a bit higher". How does it fare among the cases you currently own?

How's the cutouts? Some claimed to have misaligned cutouts.

The USB-C cut out is like 0.05mm off only. It's so min that you won't notice it. No issue with my Ugreen and Apple USB-C cable.

I still feel this casing should be around S$29.90 to S$35 range. But knowing Apple, that won't happen. So S$39 is the next best pricing. To be honest, i won't feel heart ache paying this price for a original Apple Finewoven casing.

So far these are the casings i owned.

Ugreen transparent casing - Cheap and good casing. One of the best casing i own since iphone 14PM days, continue to current 15PM. This casing offers all round protection and even cover the camera module (lens are not covered). It has a lanyard cut out which i like a lot since i will use lanyard if the casing offers that option. Has magsafe ring so the magsafe strength is good. Only downside... it's a clear TPU case so the side will get yellowish. The back is hard plastic so no issue. 9/10 for me.

Apple silicone casing - Seller put official la, but i got it for like S$17 so you know la. :s13: Overall not bad too. It's silicone so you got all the negatives from been silicone. Other than that, magsafe strength is good and i like the Clay color a lot. It just go so well with the NT iphone. 9/10 for me.

Apple FineWoven casing - Not bad. Already stated above. No regrets getting this casing at S$39. I still feel the protection is there because the side of the casing feels quite tough. Daily knocks shouldn't be an issue IMO but don't take my words for it. 8.5/10 for me.

Bare Skin casing - Can skip. The conditions when i received this casing was... sub par. Before it came, excitement gao gao. After it came and i open up, all the excitement went down the drain. The overall look feels....OLD and USED. The inner microfibre cloth was missing on the power button. So, you can actually see a small piece of metal without the microfibre cloth on the power button side. And support is.... sub par too. 2/10 for me.

Will try to buy nomad/andar/spigen casing in the future.

any one using rhinosheld mod NX?
Using it too! 1st day of use from my pitaka, definitely can feel the weight difference and bulkyness. Agree with bro @Rubick that it doesnt really snug the phone completely. It does provide more protection to my phone compared to my pitaka and i think i might just use it for the time being till i find a better case. Magsafe magnet i feel is quite strong. Can pick up my anker cube.

It’s actually interesting that you have a quite specific valuation of the FineWoven at around $30 to $35.

I wonder what’s fair price valuation of the other cases you have.. 😆
