I am planning to head down to Apple again to have a look at the Silicone cases. With this thin screen protector, I hope Apple cases now have more front screen gap to play with

Ultimately a preference thing

Some of the bros here prefer sp with black borders so dust around the sides is less visible.
While others like it that the sp is nearer to the edge so that there is little to no gap between glass and case.

I have the Beetle Mag series and it’s a pretty solid case. Firm and tight fit all around, smooth sides and clear back.

I think the thing people worried about is the camera control button cover which is not as sensitive and intuitive as others.

Wow so fast plan ahead? When this year most of the companies sales of their iPhone 16 series will be cui? If we Singaporeans, so many of us mind of the open hole of the Camera Control button, I believe it will be a worldwide Apple users’ preference to have that hole covered.

That being said, I still gently believe that those richer, more established phone cases companies like Caudabe, Mous, Nomad, etc will re-release an updated covered Camera Control button for their top selling range of cases to boost their this year’s revenue.

Didn’t Caudabe Sheath release an updated covered hole case of iPhone 15 Pro series silent switch button. Iirc, Andar too had 2 versions in their early release of their leather case for 15 Pro series - uncovered, then covered hole of Silent switch.

Yea, i've seen reviews from different Youtubers that are confident more camera control covered cases will be coming out. Having a camera control cutout case is not a popular choice.

I believe case manufacturers just want to clear their existing stock first before announcing new cases with camera control covers, because this capacitive button caught many manufacturers by surprise. Either that or according to Technically Tee, they are just lazy. So i am boycotting my usual favorite brands like Caudabe till they release one.

Someone reviewed here near the iPhone launch date that the camera control cover is made of some copper material and might scratch the actual thing itself.
