I attended my 1st IPT session at Khatib ytd n the PTI said to book our last session IPPT asap, so I went to book when I got home. After booking I got this msg that says something like if you fail this IPPT you should book another one within the 5-week window or you will not be eligible for RT exemption. Anybody else also got this? What does it mean?

I also heard rumors that there will no longer be RT exemption for IPT takers. Anybody can confirm this also? Thanks!

Up to you lor. The clerk will be there for the duration of the RT.

Even if you miss a session, you could still be charged if your unit is strict.

From ns.com, read the last sentence.
Incentives

NSmen who passed their IPPT during IPT will be released immediately from the IPT and their result would be recorded as their annual requirement for the current IPPT window. They will also be eligible for IPPT Monetary Awards if they achieved the corresponding standards. Those who completed at least 8 IPT Sessions (including the IPPT at the 8th session) would be exempted from RT if they could not pass their IPPT at the end of their IPPT window.

If you want to make sure, go ask the PTI in your next session.

Yes. I believe you can do a makeup in advance. So maybe you join the batch a day earlier than yours lor. :o

1) Wait a few days then check again.

2) You can book it now if you already plan your schedule(as in when you will do your 7th session), if not, wait till after your 3-4 sessions then book.

bro..
for 2)

on our out pro receipt, there's a date there telling us by when we mus book our ippt, or is that the date we must attempt our ippt by?

also, in conclusion, we no need to wait till our 7th lesson then book? can jus book anytime now, but must be after our 7th lesson then considered?

also, i click on Book Non-ICT IPPT/RT/IPT to book the ippt?

this is because you have not cleared 7 sessions of ipt so if you take ippt after 1 or 3 sessions etc and you failed the ippt, you are required to attend rt

im taking IPT
so should i book my ippt after the 7th lesson, or do i book it now?

Like I said, if you already have an idea when you are going to finish your 7th session, you can book it now...:s22::s8:

Just remember that the date of your IPPT must be after your 7th session.

one question.

with this new flexi-IPT scheme in place, does that mean that there will no longer be free IPT sessions (even for the Chinese New Year batch next year)? So all IPT participants have to clock 8 sessions no matter what?

yup no more such thing as block off or free ipt sessions. have to complete all 8 to get exempted for rt unless you managed to pass your ippt.

what timings you talking about? in-pro timing for IPPT? If yes, then no.

On weekdays, can start to in-pro between 4.30pm to 5.30pm. Sat morning I not sure, noon should be 3.30pm to 4.30pm. If you in-pro any later than that, then depends on the FCC to see if they want to in-pro you.
