IPPT, IPT & RT Questions...

After attending my 1st IPT session which is my IPPT....Once i received my PPT standard, for example, PPT 1, how do I get out of IPT? By booking for a IPPT slot to hit my PPT? Just keep booking for IPPT session instead of IPT to meet PPT 1? Cos i dont want to attend 10 draggy IPT sessions.

Book a non-ict ippt, meet your ppt and you are cleared for the year.

so am i right the 9 IPT sessions are really optional. i can instead just keep booking IPPT to keep trying to meet PPT can already?

Yes but if u still cannot meet your ppt at the end of your window, the ippt attempts will not count as ipt sessions.

so as to say, completing all 10 sessions are safer in case i cannot meet PPT. even if cant meet PPT, i still need go for 8 RT sessions at last 3 mths.

Yes, if u feel u cannot meet your ppt, then go for ipt instead. If not, it's just wasting extra time on your attempts.

just a quick question, my birthday falls on the 12th of august .. lets say I book my ippt on the 10th of august and get gold, after my window reopen after my birthday and I take again on lets say 14 aug , getting gold once more... how much would I receive arh?

of course provided your IPPT day is not CAT1 cum cancel run...

Guys, may I ask how PPT works? Going to attend my first IPT later, so I'm just wondering how they will gauge my PPT band. Lets say among the 5 stations, the lowest is 0 and the highest is 3

Do they take the lowest, or the highest? Thanks in advance

They will compare your last year result and ipt cat test and take the highest. IE, if you get silver last year, then don't expect your ppt to be the lowest. Vice versa if you are a long term failure.

if i'm not wrong you can only take your next ippt 3 months later.

Well, actually its a RT convert to IPT as I failed my previous IPPT (like almost 1 month ago). And I don't expect much improvement later on

Hmm I'm now doing my RT. If I cannot clear 20sessions in 3months can I extend it? Missing out a few sessions though.

If it's 3 months, most likely cannot extend again. Talk to the admin/pti and see if they can help.
