ok to clear the "air", you can "arguably missed up" to 3 sessions in RT phase 2. It wouldn't be a problem with the FCC, however your absence will be alerted to your unit. From what I understand, your unit will then decide whether to pursue the matter or not including charging the people involved. That is why some units cannot miss RT sessions or have to do makeup while others simply bochup. So whether to miss or not is entirely up to your own interpretations.

means try ur luck and not get caught?

it's not a matter of try your luck and not get caught...coz you won't know if you will be caught. 1 day, you may just open up your letterbox or an sms telling you to go an answer a charge for being a rt defaulter. In the end, redo the whole thing again. :o

Today's my 8th session in phase1, that's the IPPT session. I have attended the past 7 sessions without fail. Can I miss this 8th session without having to do makeup? Will my ns unit be informed by the FCC (Khatib)? Thank you!

As othniel80 mentioned, it depends on individual units...if your unit wants to charge you, they will just charge you. But if your unit decides to close 1 eye, then good for you. You will be taking a big risk, coz if you kenna charged, you will have to redo the whole RT, as in the whole phase 2 again

:s16: from my own personal experience, people from "certain" units got charged simply because of missing one lesson without makeup. One of the unit in question actually informed the FCC to duly notify them if any of its personnel absent themselves without a valid makeup. I heard this first hand from one of the unit's guy (the fella duly make up for every session missed) Likewise there are also people from other units who absent themselves the maximum number of times allowed per phase without any harm. If you ask me, it is quite subjective. That is why its up to your interpretations. My advise is try not to miss the sessions w/o makeup until you are pretty certain they bochup, perhaps annual ICT is a good ground to ask around what's the unit culture. If you die die have to miss or want to miss, its a gamble on your part but at least be smart have some form of documentation you have to work late or was unwell (MC, excuse, etc). In case you suay suay kena called up or charge, you can mitigate your cause. Disclaimer here, I'm not encouraging people to exploit the system but I do understand sometimes because of work/family commitments, we need a way out. Hope this helps

Your IPT window is closed. You can only book IPT in the 1st 9 months of your window. Must clear your RT 1st then book IPT for next year.

Hi all,I got a qn here...

Assuming i do a make up IPT session early (lets say on Wed) in anticipation that i cannot go to the session in my original schedule( lets say on Sat).

However, in my original session(Sat) that i have orginally made up in advance is a off in lieu for the FCC and attendance is counted. On the website it states my attendance as " public holiday" so is that original session counted as i have attended?

i think in the case of public holiday, it would have counted as a session attended.
but for confirmation, its better u called up the FCC and asked. =)

Yes...you must take for the sake of taking it...ICT IPPT is part of the ICT training programme. But you can just relax lah since you pass liao, meaning you can walk during your 2.4 or just do 20 situps and etc...:)

Ok, means that if fail ippt during the ICT IPPT, the fail result will still not override the pass one rite?
