I have called ns.sg but however, I am talking to an NSF on the phone, so I do not know how reliable it is.

He told me that you should wait for the letter or sms that you are eligible for ippt/ipt/rt, he said there are instances where the person never take ippt for 4-5 years and sometimes never called up for ICT, how true is that? Really think I should ask a regular, but he might not know the NSmen requirements, or a NSmen PTI at least.

Taking IPPT now fall on individual responsibility. You ensure you take the IPPT yearly when your window open otherwise CMPB will come down hard on you.

As for ICT, it depends on unit requirement so it is possible to drag but this mean taking IPPT until 40.

2) may still get charged but maybe no punishment if u get the mr cert when u go answer charge.

i also January birthday one, i suppose my 10th cycle ICT is on the nov2013, like that need to wait for 31mar2014 then MR....

I have a qn hopefully some1 can ans. I ord on 10 feb 2011, but ns.sg says i need to take before jan 2013(my birthday), so i have till jan to take or i have jan2013 minus 3 mth to take?

Anyway you have the whole 2012 to train and take your ippt before jan 2013.

hi bro , need to wait de ba. the target band doesnt show up immediately in website de. Govt do tink leh, dun expect too much. collect $$$ maybe fast, anything else muz wait lor.

u can call the NS hotline, they got the record after u do the 1st IPT (ie CAT test).

Not too sure how SCDF book ipt. If u also booking individual session, u should be able to choose the location too.

I can only book another session (i book 1 at a time) through the "Amend" button other than that i can't find a way to change IPT location.

If SCDF centralized ippt/rt/ipt in 1 camp, I doubt can change. Just call ns.sg to confirm.

Thanks for ur help. I was overseas for a few days thus the delayed response. Appreciate it.

Btw,i met the PPT band 1 requirements last IPPT then my new IPPT window open again. So nw i m automatically a band 2 this time round? If say, I pass this yr IPPT with band 4 results, does this mean tat the next time round i haf to meet the normal IPPT standards corresponding to my CAT Y1? Or it will juz auto promote me to band 3 standards? Is my understanding correct? Kindly advise. Thanks.

Yes. It's just +1 if u met band 1 requirements. As for your 2nd question, I think so since they will take your last IPPT result to compare.

If u have pass your IPPT, u can stop going for IPT. Please cancel the remaining sessions to free up the slots.
