What if during the ICT the unit conducts its own ippt test? will it be counted as taken?

when going for RT are we allowed to wear PT kit directly into camp?..can wear slippers go inside camp then change inside?

Its ok to wear pt kit into camp for RT, at least for Maju.

But I've not seen ppl wearing slippers to camp. After rt session its ok to change to slippers and outpro.

This will be counted as 1 attempt. If you pass, u clear for the year. Of course, the normal $ incentive still applies. If you are those border line cases, best take IPPT during ICT. More easy to pass.....

Just go to ns dot sg and click "Book Non-ICT IPPT/RT/IPT". Key in your NRIC and Birth date.
You will be able to see your status and can proceed to select your RT schedule.

Hi guys, i will have my first RT session later on at bedok camp. Got a couple of qns.

1) wear what ?

2) it's from 4-8pm , 4 fricking hours, may i know what do we do there ? Dont tell me train for the whole 4 hours ? And got end earlier one anot ? Like 5+ 6+ ?

1) wear pt kit loh. compulsory singlet or not, i'm not sure.

2) heard its around 2 hrs plus only, the rest of the time is admin stuff, etc.

1) shorts + singlet or any shirt

2) 2hrs + only...To be accurate maybe 1hr 30mins or something since inpro already took 30mins.

Yup, as Bros here mentioned, the entire session at most 2 hrs. Only abt 1.5 hrs of training. Sure can take it wan lah. Now they talk abt 3G army. No more tekan crazy RT lessons like last time. PTIs (or FS, which they are called now) are very friendly and reasonable. They also understand we NSmen de.
Just co-operate with them, once they see you put in effort, they also won't make you look silly. If you are really not feeling well or feel you cannot continue with training at any point of time, just sound off to them.

Last time, crazy tekan RT lessons, they call by number. Shout at you.
Now, they speak nicely and address everyone as "Sir".

What more you want to ask for???? They also peng kias waiting for ORD. Why make life difficult for them?

If you want to avoid RT, just train hard and make sure pass IPPT lor. Simple.

BTW, me not FS or PTI, just a very unfit NSmen who attends RT every year.

Try to avoid bringing in cam phone. If you die die must bring, there is row of lockers outside the guardhouse. Deposit your phone there. Bad thing is need 20c.

Try to go early so you can get a tag number. The counter close 4.30pm for RT men.
You will start off with some light warm up. Since this is 1st session, there might or might not be short briefing session.
Then do some basic set of exercise lor. Pushups, crunches,.....
Then go for run. By 6pm, you should be outside the camp liao.
1st session usually not so siong de.

Your attire should be ok. Your T-shirt must be collarless. Avoid polo.

There is locker at the FCC

can put ur bag, wallet etc

If i finish all my 10cycle of reservist by age 32, do i still have to take IPPT after that?

not necessary to wear singlet. I was wearing tee during traning. Its up to your preference.

if have attended 7 sessions for phase 1 but skipped the last ippt session, is auto go into phase 2 right?
