Can Wear Bermudas + slippers attire and then go in change to PT attire? Cos I would feel uncomfortable wearing PT attire on the bus journey to camp I dun wanna kana &^#&$^&^ by the RPs or whoever later...ask here first...

Unique situation?

I'm not sure if anyone has been in my unique situation.

My NS unit has stand down. I have received the SAF National Service Medal denoting my completion of my obligations for NS but because I have not been in NS for long enough (<7 years even though I have completed the 6 HK and 3 LK), I am not eligible to go into MR when my unit stand down.

I was informed by my S1 at that point in time that SAF will send me a letter to phase me into MR by about June 2009 but I did not receive such a letter.

I was on MC during ICT IPPT sessions and forgot about my IPPT obligations for this current window about 1 year later. Luckily I set a reminder on my phone and I frantically managed to book one before my window closes.

Questions are:-

1) If I fail my IPPT before the window closes, do I still need to go to RT if MINDEF confirms my MR status anytime soon?

2) How would the date of phasing into MR affect my requirement to go to RT?

Any advice from brothers here in general about my situation?

it's the time of the year where I've to do IPT again.. Anyone knows which venue is less xiong for IPT? I'm seriously unfit now.. haha..

and it's still 3mths b4 window close to book IPT rite? Cos it tell me I can only book till nov when my bdae is in aug..

and wanna ask.. For example.. 20sep is hari raya (Sunday).. So on monday the guys would have a free session.. What about those in tue? Do they get a free session too?

No...only those on monday will get it. Those on tues will have ipt as per normal.

not sure abt going in. but i know after taking our ippt, we can wear slippers outta the camp.

I am supposed to complete my RT before 13th Dec 2009, which is 5 mths after my bday.

However, when i go into NS.sg, they only have 1 slot which is starting from 29th Nov all the way till late Jan.

Wat do i do?

You need to fulfill the 7HK in order to MR.
Even though your NS unit which have stand-down and phased into MR, you still need to complete the 7HK & 3LK ICT before you can be phase into MR. In the meantime, you will be attached to another NS unit for MUT ICT unitl you hit your 7th HK ICT, then you will be able to MR.

Anyone knows now if the 2.4KM need to complete all 6 rounds or just run one round and can fall out liao?

Last yr i was here it was 6 rounds die die...even the PTI also KPKB say stupid rule...haha

Yes I hear that you die die have to finish 2.4km before it is registered as an IPPT attempt. I'm worried about the weather conditions today. The forecast is rain and I need to register 1 attempt or else kenna charged! Birthday around the corner...

I see the RT sessions at FCC are 4 hrs?? So long meh? 4 hours of PT is like even more jialat than NSF times man...

If i cleared my RT phase1+2 liao bcos i failed ippt last workyr, then i still cannot passed for the current workyr...how? I need to RT again after my bdae??

1) depends on ur rank..not much but maybe can cover cab fare

2) 4hrs on paper but normally 2hrs + at most

3) yes..if fail then go rt again

u can't bring camera phone inside..have to surrender at guard house
